About the PROPEL Sinus Implant

The device is implanted during surgery to help maintain surgical openings. Then, once the implant is in place, it releases gradual doses of an advanced corticosteroid called mometasone furoate, which heals the area and works as an anti-inflammatory as the device dissolves.
The PROPEL system has been clinically proven to prevent obstruction of the ethmoid sinus following surgery. The result is improved post-operative outcomes, reducing the need for additional surgical procedures such as adhesion lysis and systemic steroids.
