Carleen F. Ozley, M.S. CCC-SLP

Carleen F. Ozley earned her Master of Science Degree from the University of Montevallo and her Bachelor of Science Degree from Auburn University with a double major in Elementary Education and Speech Pathology. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama.

She has over 36 years' experience as a Clinical Specialist and performs Laryngeal Video EndoStroboscopy(LVES) and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) partnering with ENT physicians for review and recommendation of voice and swallowing disorders. She also provides intensive and direct vocal rehabilitation for voice disorders and professional singers and speakers to provide optimal voicing and communication. Mrs. Ozley has worked in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers and various private and hospital settings, including the Birmingham Veterans Administration, Brookwood Medical Center, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and Carraway Medical Center.

Mrs. Ozley has a passion for assisting patients in achieving the best communication skills through the latest available diagnostic assessments and appropriate treatment protocols.

Mrs. Ozley states, “Working with patients to achieve their personal goals for optimal voicing and their best communication skills is such a rewarding and challenging part of my day as a Speech Language Pathologist. When I see our patients experience positive changes in their life as a result of our therapy interventions it just makes my day and puts a smile on my face.”
